Web Service IDM Connectors for Provisioning
Lightweight customizations to generic web service applications can connect most applications to IDM with web APIs.
The organization rolled out Keylight, a subscription management software suite. The organization had an established Identity Manager implementation, but Keylight was not one of the many out-of-the-box connectors.
Impact: This organization had a business policy where applications meeting specific criteria necessitated integration with IDM.
Resolution: GCA learned the Keylight web service APIs and integrated them into the MicroFocus generic web services connector. This custom connector allowed Keylight user accounts and access rights to be requested and managed in IDM following their standardized processes.
